This is an album I made towards the end of 2017, in my space time when I wanted to relax I would just sit and write music inspired by video-games. Small, theme-like tunes and some directly inspired by existing game soundtracks that I love.

There are lots of fun song titles, sounds and vibes in this album, the first half reminds me of 8-bit style games and how they're really upbeat and relentlessly cheery. The album then starts to darken with the more "city at night" vibe of Cotton Balloons, the "Haunted House" styled Mortlewood Manor, which contains some incredibly dissonant chromatic harmonies which I adore and Motion Detector Light Party which is a ridiculous concept in terms of audio but has a really catchy melody.

I really enjoyed putting this release together as it's really light-hearted and when you're in the right mood for it these can be great to listen to.

Also "Space Cats" is a joke, I promise.
